Scope of works: Installation of customer-supplied DSP amplifier and 8” subwoofer in an E46 BMW 330ci with existing HK system.

I’m writing this review to recognise the excellent work Chris and the team at Autotronix delivered, along with their genuine focus on managing customer expectations.

I contacted Chris a few weeks ago about ongoing issues with my ageing OEM HK amplifier. I’d already upgraded the speakers, and sourced a used DSP Amplifier but it needed installing and tuning. From the outset, Chris was upfront about the opportunities and limitations of my setup, the scope of work, and the associated costs. He also gave clear guidance on what he needed from me to ensure the installation could be carried out efficiently. Once I provided the amp and subwoofer details, the team put a plan together over the counter without delay.

Chris handled my many questions with confidence and positivity—a refreshing change compared to other “car audio specialists” who were more interested in selling me something I didn’t really didn’t want or need.

Although the job took slightly longer than expected due to access challenges, Chris communicated throughout. Their engineer, Steve, was courteous, patient, and meticulous. He dialled in the system with time alignment, EQ, and channel-specific frequency adjustments, transforming the listening experience.

The result is a far more powerful, immersive, and enjoyable audio setup, all while retaining my OEM interfaces and ensuring the system runs safely without clipping or overpowering components.

Autotronix has clearly demonstrated strong value for money, reasonable lead times, and most importantly, the expertise and willingness to deliver exactly what a customer needs—nothing more, nothing less. It's the second time I use Autotronix, and Chris and his staff were absolutely brilliant! I strongly recommend them.

Had a VW badge reverse cam fitted; had the part and just wanted these guys to fit it; can’t complain as it works perfect; plus they took the time to sort out some loose wiring which they didn’t have to do but did anyways; places like this is what you need for your car; they’ll take care of it and keep it as professional as they can.

Went in for some advice and connectors. Recieved an explanation as to what I should be doing and some free connectors. Old school customer service. Excellent. They are now my go to supplier as I know they care about their customers.

Recently fitted some upgraded door speakers for me to replace my old ones which had failed, outstanding friendly service and very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend their services.

I recommend going to get your audio setup here or buying some parts for your setup BC they don't just sell it, but they also helps you match your system properly and a good quality setup. Then some few information that you'll need if you're a newbie about car audio systems.

These guys are so great. As a female going here, they make you feel so comfortable and in great hands. They go beyond what is asked and are so helpful. I'd definitely recommend to everyone.
